Programs & Committees

Women at Work

Forum for professional women of all generations, sectors and management levels. Women at Work is designed to equip women with the knowledge, resources and connections to navigate challenges, build leadership skills and achieve success in the workplace.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee’s mission is to build and sustain an equitable and inclusive business environment in Centre County and the region, and to become a civic model for strategies to advance education, innovation and economic growth.

Government Relations

The Government Relations Committee monitors regional, state and federal policies and issues to assess the impact on the business community and to make recommendations to the Board of Directors on Chamber positions and courses of action.

Chamber Ambassadors

Chamber ambassadors volunteer to serve as an extension of the Chamber and play a key role in membership engagement and connection. They help Chamber members obtain maximum value from their membership and serve as goodwill representatives of the Chamber.

Economic-Development Council

Provides guidance on retaining and growing businesses in Centre County, as well as attracting new companies and ventures, with a focus on positive economic impacts and job creation for the region.

Professional Development & Business Education

Free, monthly programming for members to hone expertise, learn new skills and help employees grow professionally.

Chamber Travel Program

The Chamber Travel Program is a great way for members of the community to travel together in a small group, and at an affordable price, to great locations like Italy and Ireland.

Coffee Conversations

Start your day off with coffee and colleagues! Chamber members are invited to share updates from their corner of Centre County - new hires, projects completed, products launched, awards won, victories small and large, and any other positive happenings in the world of business.

Business After Hours

Business After Hours are the Chamber's premier networking events. These socials are a fantastic way for sponsoring Chamber members to foster growth and raise awareness about their businesses, while also providing an unparalleled resource for connection and collaboration. The events are typically held once a month on Thursdays from 5 - 7 p.m.

Annual President's Reception

Exclusive reception for Chamber investors and economic-development partners.

Member-Appreciation Party

Eat, drink and be merry, Chamber members! This annual event is an opportunity for the Chamber to recognize our members and to express gratitude for their dedication and leadership throughout the year.

Chamber Golf Outing & 19th-Hole Mixer

This event offers business and community leaders a relaxing afternoon of food, fun and sun on the golf course. A Business After Hours event is held in conjunction with the golf outing to celebrate, connect with other players, and to savor food and refreshments.

Economic-Development Summit

A Chamber-led half-day summit focused on collective impact while providing an opportunity to connect, share insights, gain fresh perspectives, and build problem-solving action plans.

Voice of Business Luncheons

This informative series highlights topics of local and regional importance and supports the Chamber's advocacy efforts.

Legislative Reception

Connect directly with elected officials within state and local government in a private setting to share experiences and discuss issues critical to economic development and the business community.

CentreREADY Summit

The CentreREADY Summit is a professional-development and career event for Centre County students who participate in the Chamber's CentreREADY workforce-development program.

Annual Celebration & Awards Ceremony

A celebration of businesses and individuals and their achievements and contributions to Centre County. This member-favorite event is being reimagined. Stay tuned for details and sponsorship opportunities later this year.

State of the County Luncheon

The State of the County Luncheon covers a wide-range of topics, such as public policy, education and healthcare. You'll gain valuable insight from Centre County's commissioners while building relationships with your fellow Chamber members.

Programs & Events Policies

Cancellation policy: We require a 72-hour cancellation notice of an event registration. After that time, refunds cannot be granted.

Photography policy: Photographs of event attendees may be taken during any of our events. By registering and attending an event, you agree that your photograph may be used in Chamber communications and promotional materials.
