STATE COLLEGE, PA – June 5, 2026 –

The Chamber of Business & Industry of Centre County (CBICC) held its annual Member Appreciation event on Thursday evening at the Hyatt Place in downtown State College. The evening was dedicated to celebrating all of our members and honoring those who have reached 10, 25, and 50 years with the Chamber.

CBICC members are the businesses that drive Centre County forward. Their work grows our regional economy, strengthens our community, and makes this region a better place to live and do business. This event is one way we get to recognize that.

"Whether you joined this month or have been a member for 50+ years, we are so glad you are here and appreciate your continued belief in our mission to strengthen Centre County through business growth, community partnerships, and economic development," said Greg Scott, President and CEO of CBICC.

As Centre County's leading economic development organization, CBICC champions the interests of businesses across the region with a focus on helping existing businesses grow, attracting new and emerging industries, strengthening workforce and education pipelines, and investing in the infrastructure and environment that makes Centre County a place people want to be.

The event was held at the Hyatt Place, which opened its newly renovated space for the occasion and provided food and beverages for attendees. The Hyatt Place team shared updates on the hotel's recent upgrades throughout the evening. Hyatt Place is also a 10-year CBICC member and was recognized alongside the evening's other honorees.

To our milestone honorees and to every CBICC member, thank you. Your commitment to Centre County does not go unnoticed, and we are grateful to have you as part of this business community.
