Awards are presented in categories based on chamber membership size.
The Chamber of Business & Industry of Centre County (CBICC) was named the 2026 PACP Chamber of the Year in the Medium Chamber category in recognition of its outstanding leadership in regional economic development and its successful efforts to expand commercial air service in Centre County.
As part of its commitment to strengthening the region's economic competitiveness, CBICC led the development of the county's first comprehensive Economic Development Strategic Plan and identified limited commercial air service as a significant challenge for local businesses, workforce recruitment, and regional growth.
This achievement represents an important step forward for Centre County, strengthening business connectivity, expanding travel opportunities, supporting tourism, and creating new opportunities for economic growth.
CBICC continues to serve as a leading voice for business and economic development throughout the county, providing innovative programs, valuable member services, and opportunities for businesses and community leaders to collaborate on regional priorities.
