Altoona, PA — McCartney’s Workplace Solutions is proud to announce that President Randy Green has recently been recognized with two distinguished honors: being named to the PA Business Central Top 100 list and receiving the Rotary Club of Altoona Paul Harris Fellow Award.
An Altoona native, Green has been part of the McCartney’s family business since the age of 15. After earning a degree in Business Economics from Penn State University, he returned to help lead the company, which celebrates 100 years of family ownership and nearly 140 years in business serving Central Pennsylvania.
The PA Business Central Top 100 award recognizes business and community leaders across the region who demonstrate professional excellence and community impact. Green’s leadership at McCartney’s Workplace Solutions and his longstanding commitment to local organizations reflect both.
In addition to his role as President, Green has actively served on numerous local boards and committees, including The Blair County Chamber, the Altoona Rotary Club, GAEDC, the Blair Chamber Recreation Committee, PSSA, HINNA, Mardorf United Methodist Church, Our Lady of Lourdes School, and a five-county “Buy Local” advocacy group, among others.
Green was also honored as a Paul Harris Fellow by the Rotary Club of Altoona. Established in 1957, the recognition is one of Rotary’s highest honors and is awarded to individuals who contribute, or who have contributions made in their name, of $1,000 or more to The Rotary Foundation. The distinction celebrates a commitment to service, philanthropy, and community leadership.
“Randy’s dedication to both our business and our community reflects the values that have guided our family for generations,” McCartney’s shared. “We are incredibly proud to see him recognized for the leadership and service he brings to Central Pennsylvania.”
Green lives in Altoona with his wife, Mary Ellen, and their dog, Lucy. He is the proud father of two daughters, Miriah Lassinger and Laura Green, and grandfather to Rae Ellen. In his free time, he enjoys biking, walking, trail building and clearing, and anything snow-related. He also considers it a privilege to work alongside his daughter Laura at McCartney’s, continuing the family’s generational legacy.
As McCartney’s Workplace Solutions embarks on its two-year anniversary celebration, the company notes that these recognitions reflect not only individual achievement, but the strength of a local, family-owned business committed to serving Altoona and the surrounding region.
